Minnesota State and National Corn Husking Contest

The Minnesota State & National Corn Husking Contests will be held October 15 & 16, 2016. The contest site is located at the Jeff & Kathy Ofstie farm, 38603 Cty 4 Blvd, Goodhue, Mn 55027. From Goodhue take Cty #9 east 2 miles, turn right (south) on Cty #4. The Ofstie farm is the first place on the right.

Golden Age Men & Women husk Sat. after the state contest and MUST register by 12 noon. All other National classes will compete on Sunday. Registration for Nationals will be held Sat. 10am-4pm & Sun. 7-9am. Contest on Sun. starts at 9am with the youth classes.

Rules committee meets on Sat. at about 3pm. National meeting will be held at the farm on Sat. around 4pm. Banquet: Sat. Oct. 15 at 6pm Lion’s Community Center in Goodhue (building across from the elevator with a lion in front), 105 Broadway St. N $15.00/person for meal As you dine, music will be provided by the group, “Down Home.” Please order Banquet tickets by October 5, 2016 Order form for Banquet
